The Catalogue

 | Library Catalogue (LibrarySearch) |

Four catalogue enquiry terminals are provided on the ground floor of the library. These give access to the LibrarySearch catalogue, which allows you to search all the Cambridge libraries' print and electronic resources in one place, and has lots of added features. Searches can be limited to a specific library, narrowed down by subject or publication date, or expanded into online article databases like JSTOR. We have a pdf guide to using LibrarySearch here. Help is also available in the form of printed guides by the catalogue terminals, on-line help buttons; training sessions provided by Newnham College Library staff (one-to-one or as a group – just ask!); training sessions provided by the University Library.

| Library Catalogue (Newton) |

The older Newton Catalogue is still available, which allows you to search the collection of Newnham College Library (College Libraries A-N database) as well as Faculty and Departmental libraries and the University Library. If you prefer to use Newton, a pdf guide if available here. Help is also available in the form of on-line help buttons; training sessions provided by Newnham College Library staff; training sessions provided by the University Library.
